Today at church Wade felt a prompting to pray about being baptized. During the Sacrament, Wade reverently prayed to Heavenly Father sincerely, asking specifically if he should be baptized. He waited for a moment, and he got a warm feeling heart that helped him to know that being baptized was what Heavenly Father wanted him to do. This is one of many prayers that have been answered for Wade.
1) praying for Cobalt to be found
2) praying for wallet to be found
3) praying for baptism.
We got back to the Traverse and Kansas took like half a hour to thaw out.
We pulled over to get her some food and comfort Kansas and these two horses came for visit. They ate some of our apples the kids loved the visit.
There is a great division among the people, but there is no earthly barrier or distance between them. They are all intermingled among cities. It feels like many who believe in government control are losing their sense of comparison and reason. There is a deep hatred in them for anyone of a different thought. Covid has divided us as media and politicians have politiszed it. It seems everything is political. This creates greater divide.
It is hard to describe the events that have occurred in the last week in the United States.
The presidential election occurred in November, in which there was highly suspicious activities and anomalies that occurred in 5 states that caused Joe Biden to win. There are many coincidents that pushed Biden over the top. Things like no president has won election with out winning. Florida, Ohio and Iowa , or no president has won and also seen a major loss in house representatives. There are many more but anyway this strange election added fuel to an already heated situation. No court would hear the evidence brought forth against the election. The electoral college placed their votes and as the house and senate were certifying the vote Jan 6, trump protestors/ agitators stormed the capital building. One unarmed woman was killed and one police officer was also killed. It came out that most of these violent protestors were not the average trump supporter but were affiliated with far right or even antifa dressed as trump supporters.
Well this set off some crazy events. After a few broken windows, some fire extinguisher excitement, and all the elected representatives cowering in the basement. It was over.
But all the democrats called for Trumps impeachment. He must have invited this violence. The media joined in the narrative finally condemning the violence. But all summer with 90 days of riots and looting not one media talking head or democratic official condemned it. It was all mostly peaceful protests.
To go even further, the tech giants deplatformed the sitting president who did ask all folks to leave the capital. To follow police direction. Yes he was cut off, yet the Iyatolla of Iran remains safe spouting his insufferable hate towards Israel. After the purge people went to a conservative platform to communicate, but that too was shut down by Amazon Servers.
To continue President trump lost all future transactions on his website and stripe said you can’t do business with us. The German bank said that they will not do business with Trump. Democrats have said that republicans who support Trump should be placed on a no fly list. This will only get worse. There is no healing in this road. More and more companies will follow suit. I can’t imagine how far this will go nor can I for see who will be targeted.
Only God can save us now, but like past civilizations who ceased to be civil, people will hunt down other people to eradicate them, even though we all bleed red, we all love our children, we all look the same created in Gods image. We need to humble ourselves, we need to repent because God will not allow this wickedness much longer.
For some odd reason, ever since Kansas has been on hard food, she has loved Grape fruit. The only other person to eat it is mom. Every time, I mean every time, mom cuts up a grape fruit Kansas is there like a vulture on a carcass, begging for a bite of moms “orange”

While Wade was on a zoom meeting for school Macie and Kanzy were snuggling so cute and watching Frozen 2.
In a year I usually read only a few books if any, but this past year I read 11 books. And I quite enjoyed it. It was a big commitment of time and effort, but was nice to see that you really can accomplish big things if you put your mind to it.

all in all we had an amazing Christmas month
Dec 19, we watched Grady's baptism via zoom and ate a wonderful ham dinner then went to a live nativity put on in the park so vehicles could drive by and see it. Mac Strong and his family did an awesome job, even hosting live animals. After that we looked at a few Christmas lights and then went back to the halls to watch a Christmas movie and eat homemade caramel pop corn which was super yummy.
Dec 20 was Macies birthday and we got together again and enjoyed More food and visiting
Dec 21, Abbie and Brady put on a scavenger hunt around town regarding certain lights we had to find.
Aunt Corrine Dropped by just before Christmas and gave the kids super cute ginger bread houses. Kansas was so adorable when she got hers. She was very excited.
Christmas Eve, we went to the Halls house and ate a ton of amazing finger food:
Meat, cheese, and Pickles.

cookie pies
mango salsa
brie,
bacon wrapped jalapeños
and dirty sodas
We ate like kings, amazing kings.
Opened up our Christmas jammy's and played a Christmas white elephant game and read a few Christmas stories and songs.
Then we came home to get ready for Santa.
We read the night before Christmas and put out milk and cookies and carrots and the kids got a healthy dose of melatonin and they went to sleep. Grandma slept over to wake up with the kids.
Christmas morning was amazing. well the parents were tired. See Macie was up at 2:30am and Wade 4:30am but luckily they both were back asleep.
Presents started to be opened at 7am. Everyone did quite well. Kanzy got a puppy that did not bite or jump up. Wade got some war stuff, and macie got a skate board.
In the early afternoon we went over to the Halls to enjoy more food and visiting. After dinner had settled down, we did a talent show.
Macie sang and played the piano
Wade told some jokes
and the adults did a funny skit.
It was truly a Christmas to remember. Many new traditions were formed and old ones renewed. Our hope is to continue this magic for years to come.
I needed some updated photos of the kids, so I got my IPhone, put them in cute clothes and the pictures turned out pretty good. Helps when your kids are so stinking adorable.
This year Dad got a permit for us to cut down our very own Christmas tree! He was able to get enough permits to cut down 3 trees so we took the Halls and Tollestrup’s with us. The day could not have been more beautiful. We went the first Saturday in December the 5th of 2020. We had a beautiful walk, and visit and enjoyed the beautiful scenery surrounding us.
