THE MANY FACES OF KALINDA???

So I thought it would be fun as I am all finished school and my big NACOR test to do a blog about all the faces of kalinda, or should I say glasses. I wanted to ask all my faithful blog readers how many pairs of glasses do you think I own. I bet I get asked this question everyday, seeing as people probably see me in a different pair everyday. I thought it would be fun to see everybody's different answers. So as I patiently await your responses for the next week I will be preparing by taking pictures of all my pairs and seeing how many I really have as I don't even know the full count.

MEDIUM, DONE FOREVER HOPEFULLY, AND THE SPIRIT!!!

MEDIUM

Well this first Title is about something very exciting in my life that I have been working very hard towards since January. As of right now I am a medium and what does that mean it means when I buy clothes I buy shirts that are a size medium, I buy pants in sizes 7/8 ( can't believe I just posted my size on my blog but what the heck I have worked very hard to get there) and dresses and skirts in a medium size. It has been 5 years since I have done this. Why I let myself go in the first place I really in the end don't know, oh I have my excuses but they are pretty lame in the end. It really comes down to self control and desire. Well I finally got that control and desire back and it feels amazing. 15 more pounds and I will have accomplished my goal for the year.

DONE FOREVER HOPEFULLY

Saturday was my big NACOR and I think it went great. It was way easier then I thought it was going to be. I am almost positive I passed but I don't want to get to excited just incase I totally screwed up and didn't realize it. But if I did I am done forever no more tests, no more studying, no more labs, and best of all another goal accomplished for the year.

THE SPIRIT

Today was one of those Sundays were you could not help but feel the spirit, even if you were not totally focused. Thankfully I had a good start to my day and got to church early and was able to prepare myself for our sacrament meeting buy listening to the wonderful prelude music. Our ward had ward conference today so we got to here the wonderful talks of our great leaders and they always bring the spirit with them, but what really topped it off today was our choir. They sang a different version of praise to the man. You could tell there whole hearts went into it It brought tears to my eyes to feel the love of the savior for everybody there in the chapel. Then they ended the sacrament meeting with high on the mountain top, it absolutely took my breath away, you would of thought the Mormon Tabernacle Choir was singing if you were there it sounded so beautiful. I am so grateful for Sundays like this, not only do they make a great day, but they end up making a great week as well.

6 MORE DAYS UNTIL THE BIG BIG BIG TEST!!!!!

It has taken me four long years to get to this point but this Saturday is one of the biggest tests I will take in my life. Funny though how I am more excited than nervous which is hopefully a good thing. Everyday this past week I have done every measurement and adjustment I can think off, that might be on my NACOR and so far I think I have nailed them I just hope I can do the same on the test. So wish me luck and hopefully in 8 weeks when I get my results back there will be a very happy post coming my way and one more Licensed Optician in Canada.

TO JUST STAY PUT!!!!

Well it looks like the Hunspergers are going to be staying put for at least another year, my guess though is that It is going to be another 3 years. Oh well I still like my house here in Kitscoty just would have been nice and convenient to be back in Lloydminster. Now to start getting this house done so we can live in it for another 3 years. AHHH I hate home renovating.

2 Heart attacks in 48 hours!!!!

Heart Attack #1. Last Night we were doing some painting, we had the dogs in the kennel outside so they would not get into the paint. All of a sudden we heard a cry from Lily that I have never heard before. Very Very Loud and Very Very Long. It scared me have to death, Mark and I immediately dropped everything we were doing and ran outside to find Lily's Teeth and Nose caught in the fence. We tried to get her out but we had to open the door and the more we opened it the louder she yelled, finally we were able to get her face unstuck. She kept crying for a couple of minutes but in no time she was back to being Lily. Such a scary experience, even though they are just dogs you feel so helpless not being able to help them and hearing them cry that loud.

Heart Attack #2. This was a 2nd Experience for Mark and not myself, but scared me none the less when I heard the story.
So mark calls me at work today and told me that when he was at Totem today picking up some lumber he had accidently left the truck door open when he went back to get in he noticed two very important things missing, Molly and Lily, immediately he was terrified as it was outside and they have been wondering for probably 10 minutes by now. He had everybody that was working outside looking all over the lumber yard and parking lot. Trying not to think the worst that they had been run over by a vehicle our totally and completely lost somewhere. When finally one of the men helping him look for the dogs heard on the radio announcement if anybody was missing two dogs. Apparently Molly and Lily decided that they wanted to go shopping, too bad there wasn't a Pet aisle. Although I am sure Molly ate every peace of Popcorn she could find on the floor.

So those are my crazy pet stories in two days. I have a feeling I am going to die one day sooner in my old age thanks to these experiences.

TO BUILD, TO BUY, OR TO JUST STAY PUT???

These questions have been plaguing my mind all weekend, as I was looking at tile, hardwood, carpet, doors, cabinets, and endless paint colors. My wonderful mother drew up an amazing floor plan that I have fallen in love with, the colors I have been looking at, look amazing together.
It makes perfect sense as we are hoping to have a family soon, being in Lloydminster would be so much more convenient. Even if we don't start a family it would be so much nicer. The biggest deciding factor would be if we can sell our house for what we need to. Our Realtor is hopefully coming out on Monday to give us an assessment, let's just pray it is a high number so we can build, or buy. Ahhh build or buy, building is what I really want to do, but buying is so much easier. Anyone with experience what do you recommend, and when I mean build or buy I mean we would be for sure getting something brand new, we just can't decide if we let somebody build it for us with there house plans or we contract out all the work ourselves and do whatever we want. We'll time to get some sleep as I think about all these decisions, yeah right.

WHAT NOT TO EAT!!!!

1. Wheat
2. Red Meats
3. Dairy
4. Processed foods
5. Sodium
6. Refined Sugar
7. Chocolate
8. Refined and Concentrated Carbohydrates
9. Fried Food, Margarine, and hydrogenated fats
10. Soy Products
11. Additives and Preservatives
12. Tinned and Frozen packaged foods

This is what I can not eat until we get pregnant, all I have to say is please please please let it happen right away. I don't know how I am going to be able to do it, but it is starting today. All I have to say is I better lose a lot of weight if all I can eat is fruits, vegetables, nuts, fish and spices.
Not to mention they can't be topped with salt, butter or any other kind of condiment. I think I am going to go crazy, so watch out.
