Somehow we did it!!!
So today was our big half marathon, I was getting really discouraged as the day before I started cramping and bloating. I told Mark I didn't think I was gonna be able to do it. My period was not suppose to come until the week after but last month it came 4 days early and this one came 3 days early. I was so annoyed. Mark was so good about it and understanding but I could tell he was sad we were not gonna do it together. After some serious pondering I decided to suck it up and do the race. My amazing friend Melanie Ellis watched the kids for us. We got there nice and early and meet some friends from church, at 9:00 we headed out. The sun was beautiful and shining bright. Mark was beyond amazing and motivated me when cramps started and held my hand during rough moments. By kilometre 16 we knew this was gonna happen that we were gonna finish. We had to walk at km 18 from tired legs and not the nicest path, then we hit km 20 and picked it up again and ran into the finish line with our amazing friends at the end to run in with us.

Beach Bums!!!
I gotta say the best thing about Cold Lake is the amazing beach right here in there town. It is kind of like living at a cabin all summer long. We have already been to the beach three times for swimming and sand castles. And the kids hair is already getting blonder, Love it!

Big bike ride!!
Today I challenged Macie to do a 6 km bike ride. If she could do it I would give her $5 for her piggy bank. She was of course on board for it. I was so proud of her there was hills and a scorching hot sun ( yay May 2nd and 26 degrees), but she did it and totally rocked it. We biked to Sobeys stopped for some fruit, cookies and water and then headed back. Wade also got a loonie at the end as he probably walk/ran for a good 3 kms and when I made him get on his bike (that has a handle where I push him) because there was too much traffic, he listened really good. So proud of these two today. I am hoping buy the end of summer she will be able to do a 10 km bike ride.

Firsts!
Tonight was our first family date night to a movie. I have taken the kids to the movies and Mark has taken them, but we haven't yet all gone together as a family. But when the Jungle Book movie came out I knew it had to happen. I loved the Jungle Book when I was a kid and was so pumped to go see this movie. I also had to work today so we had to do the 7:00 movie instead of the Matinee. This was a first for Wade and I was nervous with how he would do. The pictures will say it all :). The movie was amazing. Although a little too scary for the kids, probably should have been a date night for just me and Mark.

Training!!!!!!
I'm not one to take selfies, but tonight I felt pretty proud of myself. Started my day with working 9-5, it was a super busy day and was going non-stop my whole shift pretty much. Then relief society dinner and conference. Then home to get ready for Easter dinner for tomorrow, hide Easter eggs, watch Kansas lose to Villanova (great game). Then started a 13km run at 9:50 at night. It was my longest and hardest run yet, but felt so proud of myself for sucking it up and finishing the very long, very sweaty run.

Always Watching Over Us!
From 3:50pm until 8:00 pm today was just total and complete chaos, and stress. Today was gonna be a little bit stressful as Macie had dance pictures at 5:20 and Mark wasn't around to watch Wade. So I was already preparing myself for chaos. However at 3:50 Molly started crying like she was in severe pain. I went over to see what was wrong and she was licking her Bum like crazy. When I lifted her bum there was a huge Marble size growth on her bum. (This next part is pretty gross just to warn readers). I just barely touched the growth and this insanely gross amount and disgusting brown puss came out of the bump. It kept coming as well as blood and the most horrific smell ever. I seriously threw up in my mouth a little bit. I rushed her to the bathroom and pushed out more of the grossness, and Molly wouldn't stop crying. It was now 4:00 and I had to leave for Macie's pictures around 4:45. I quickly grabbed the kids, there stuff and the dogs and drove to the vet. They were amazing and took her in right away, cleaned up the bump, and gave us some medication to fix the infection. I then had 5 minutes to get from the vet to Macie's pictures. We got there ran in like a crazy person, and upon opening her bag to put on her dance shoes, I realized that amoung all the chaos I had forgotten them at home. Great, I went to the dance teacher and asked her what I should do, she said she will have to be shoeless for the group picture and can borrow someones shoes for her solo shot. Macie of course started crying, she was already super emotional about Molly and this put it over the top. Then another little Miracle a friend from Macie's Preschool had her dance pictures just before Macie's and her mom said we could borrow her dance shoes and bring them back tomorrow at preschool. Macie was hesitant at first but then was very thankful as it was these shoes or nothing. Of course pictures went late, and I had promised the kids french fries after Macie's pictures. We went to Boston Pizza and they were tired and hungry so misbehaving and not listening. We came home and I was done for, I told them to put on her Jammies and go straight to bed. They did so, and then brought me a book and said Mom please read us a book first. I of course caved to there cuteness, even though I was beyond done. After reading the book the kids gave me the best hugs and kisses ever and said Sorry for not listening at Boston Pizza and thank you for the french fries and Ice Cream. We ended with the sweetest prayer buy Macie, Thanking Heavenly Father for our day and all we got to do.
There is no question today was chaos, stress, and just annoying. However while Macie was praying I couldn't help but tear up and thank my Heavenly Father for everything he did to help make this day work out. From the Vet seeing Molly so quickly, Macie's friend letting us borrow her tap shoes, even little things like finding Macies stuffed animals she sleeps with at night right away when we had no idea where they were. He can't stop the bad days from happening, they are going to happen and they will be there, but his love for us is so amazing that he does everything he can to make it better, and to give us little miracles so we can get threw it. I love my Saviour, and I know he is real and that he loves me, and that he is always watching over us.

ANOTHER YEAR, ANOTHER DANCE CLASS!!
This makes all those Wednesday nights of taking Macie to dance class and waiting there for 30 minutes and trying to entertain Wade all worth it. The Pictures, the adorable outfits, the make up and hair, the Dance Recital at the end of April. Actually being honest this year has been awesome, Macie made a really good friend, and the dance classes are held at a school so me and Wade get to play in this awesome open area for 30 minute and have a blast together.

March madness baby!!
I freaking love this time of year. Basketball Basketball and more Basketball. From high school games to college finals and of course the ever anticipated March Madness. Got my bracket all filled out and hoping for a victory this year with my family pool. The only thing I hate about not having Cable is I miss watching sports. Especially the Olympics and March Madness. I might have to hit up some friends house this year to watch some games or Boston Pizza.
Today me and the kiddos got all dressed up in some basketball gear and we played some ball. It was cute I taught the kids some drills, passing and shooting. They are of course clueless but cute watching them trying to figure it out.

The Easter Bunnies Garden
Ok anyone who knows me well knows I am not good at crafting. However today I impressed myself with a creative idea I came up with all on my own. No seeing it on Pinterest or Facebook just thought of the idea and made it happen. Not that nobody else has never made something like this before, but this was all from my own imagination. Now of course it is not perfect, especially cause it was something me and Macie did together but I seriously enjoyed every minute of it. The thought is that every night until Easter we will put a carrot in his garden and he will come and eat it and leave us a chocolate treat. Then on Easter Sunday we fill it with carrots and he brings us lots of Easter treats.
