For memory sake!!!

This morning Macie came and woke me up in my bed and said "I am hungry can I have Cheerios please." In a joking manner I said sure go make it yourself. I got up to go pee and Macie ran downstairs got herself a bowl and put Cheerios in it, then got milk from the fridge and poured it in her bowl. Buy the time I got downstairs she was sitting on the counter devouring her bowl. I was so impressed she did it all by herself. Wade then woke up and while I was going to get him Macie did up a bowl for Wade. Now all I need is for her to figure out how to turn on cartoons and Saturday mornings can become sleeping in for me and Mark. Before we know it she will be making her own Mac and cheese.

A handsome Sunday boy

I think I might love getting Wade dressed for Sunday more then Macie. It is a close call. Little boy clothes are just so studley I wanna die.  It also helps that this kid is so darn cute!

Another Great Easter

Another Easter has come and gone, and we decided to do another visit to my parents house. My parents are so good at making things so nice when we go visit, always a comfy bed, fun activities, and good food. This year my brother and his family came to visit with us. On the Friday my mom had tons of fun crafts planned for the day. We made Easter pictures, decorated cookies, and dyed Easter eggs. We also went for a nice walk to visit Great Grandma Prive, it was so nice outside after our visit we walked to the park and played for a bit and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Saturday we were hit with a snow storm so we were stuck in side all day. We did hit up the Ponoka swimming pool though for a couple hours and of course got ready for the Easter Bunny to come. Sunday was a great day got to listen to General Conference, watch the kiddos hunt for easter eggs and eat delicious food. I love how the holidays are getting better and better every year since having kids. So fun to watch there faces light up as they enjoy all the fun of Easter and the traditions.

Wade's an outtie!!!!

This picture is kind of funny looking and definitely doesn't look like a belly button. But I needed to get a pick and record for memory that  ever since Wade was born his belly button has been an outtie. I don't know if it will stay that way but for now it is cuter then cute and I love it

Mommy/Daughter road trip

Macie and I had our first road trip together this weekend. We headed up to calgary to go to Disney on ice with my sister (keltie) and her family for the Friday night show. We loved it and Macie was in awe with the whole thing. She especially loved the dragon from Sleeping Beauty and the "frozen" part. The next day we headed up to edmonton and meet up with my other sister and brother and there families and went swimming at west edmonton mall. The poor little munchkin was to small to go on almost all the slides by herself but we still had a blast. After swimming Me and Macie spent some alone time together and went and got lunch and then I let her pick out a dress at Old Navy. She ended up going with a pink skirt. We then headed to Jasper Place High School to watch my nephew Tevin play in the 4A third place provincial basketball game. It was an exciting game and they came out with a good win.  Next was my mom and dads house to play with cousins and watch some March Madness (College basketball) we got snowed in for Sunday and couldn't go to church so the cousins had a blast playing while us adults visited and yes watched more basketball. The drive home was peaceful and Macie watched a show while I thought of the wonderful time I had with my daughter and was thinking of all the things I want to do in the future with my kids to help build up our relationships.
