How is it possible that this little miracle of mine is already 3 years old. It blows my mind how fast they grow up. Sometimes I like it as I see them accomplish new things and learn new things everyday, but it is said that she is not my little baby anymore. She is almost not even a toddler anymore, she is turning into a kid.
- Macie still loves swimming more then any other activity. She would go everyday if we could.
- She is all girl, is obsessed with anything pink, purple and princess.
- Having mommy do her toe nails is one of her favourite things, and sits crazy still to let me do them.
- Her days are consumed with playing dress up, colouring, matching card games, playing outside, hide and seek, and rough housing with Mom, Dad and Wade.
- She is such a kind spirit and has such a good heart. She is strong willed like most kids, but never wants to see anybody cry or get hurt and will put her own wants and needs aside to make sure others are happy.
- Is still one of the toughest kids I know and can get kicked in the face and barely draw a tear, but if her feelings get hurt she is a wreck.
- When we asked her what she wanted for her birthday dinner she of course said Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich. She would eat that everyday if I let her. She is awesome at eating her fruit and also pretty good with veggies, she will eat broccoli, carrots, celery, snap peas, corn, sweet potatoes, even asparagus, cauliflower and peas. However ask this girl to eat some meat and it is the end of the world. If there is dip I can get her to eat chicken and Salmon but nothing else no red meat at all. The only type of sandwiches she will have is Nutella or PB and J. Cheese and Yogurt are another obsession and popcorn is definitely her favourite snack. She is not big into sweets which I don't mind at all and will pick home made carrot zucchini muffins over a cupcake.
- Baking is another love of Macie's, climbing up on the counter and helping mom put in all the ingredient and stir is one of her favourite things to do with me.
- She finally learned how to ride her bike at the end of the summer, I was out with her almost everyday and finally at the end of August her legs got long enough and strong enough that she could do it on her own.
This girl is so awesome, and I will always be eternally grateful to my Heavenly Father for picking me to be her mother. I love the bond we have and the amazing relationship we have together. I hope it only grows stronger as she gets older.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY BEAUTIFUL MACIE, WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!
