A Poem by Mark Hunsperger

I was sifting through my Journal tonight when I came across a poem Mark wrote for me this past New Years. We have this wonderful tradition that Mark's family has done all there lives that we will keep every year as well. On New Years Eve they set there shoe out on the table and wait for little elves to come and fill it with goodies during the night. You wake up New Years Day to a shoe filled with many great surprises. This past New Years Day I woke up to some goodies that to be honest I can't remember but this Poem he wrote me will never be forgotten. I want to write it in here today so I have more then one copy of it.

WE HAVE GOTTEN TO KNOW EACH OTHER OVER TIME,
I'M SORRY ABOUT THIS LAME RHYME.
OUR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER HAS REALLY GROWN,
YOU'RE THE BEST FRIEND I'VE EVER KNOWN.
YOUR KINDNESS MEANS THE WORLD TO ME,
YOUR LOVE IS MAKING ME THE BEST I CAN BE.
I WANT TO BE WITH YOU UNTIL WE ARE OLD,
NO MATTER WHERE WE LIVE EVEN IF IT'S COLD.
NOW LET'S ENJOY ANOTHER YEAR
AND CAST OUT ALL OUR FEAR
AND LIVE OUR LIVES WITH NO REGRETS
YOU, ME AND ALL OUR PETS.
