All about the kids!!!

Today was all about the kiddos. We started with some yummy breakfast, then got ready to go to open gymnastics. The kids loved it like always. Then we headed to the mall were I let Macie pick out some clip on earrings and Wade picked out a toy. Macie was of course in heaven and has been obsessed about her new earrings all day showing them off to everybody. Then we headed home for lunch and some naps. I even wore Macie out enough to get her to take a nap. After
Naps we did some silly play and then got Macie and me ready for our mommy/daughter date tonight. Mark went snowboarding tonight with a friend so I got our favorite sitter (Elizabeth Onofrychuk) to watch Wade while me and Macie went for a quick dinner and then meet our friends at the Lakeland Basketball game. This day couldn't have been more amazing. The kids were so good, we had so much fun and had some great bonding time.

Dance class!!!

I have been thinking a lot lately about what to do with Macie for school and extra curricular activities. I feel very strongly that we should wait and put Macie in kindergarten a year later as her birthday is so late in the year, with that decision I felt she needed to do a more structured extra circular activity as she won't be starting preschool in September. It was a hard decision between dance and gymnastics but after looking into all the programs dance at studio encore seemed the best. It was such a good choice, Macie loves it so much. She runs out after every session with a huge smile on her face and shows us all her dance moves.

More stitches

We were having such a wonderful time at the CO-OP grocery store, the kids were pushing around there little kid carts and we were getting groceries for dinner with our friends on Sunday. When all of a sudden I hear Mark freaking out and holding Wade's head. Then I saw the blood, it was everywhere and the huge gap on his forehead. I knew right away he needed stitches. The store workers were useless and did nothing to help us, Mark finally ran Wade out to the van and got our first aid kid. The bleeding finally slowed down a bit and we raced to the hospital with the hazard lights on. Poor Wade was crying and Macie was so stressed and worried about Wade. Thankfully the hospital ER was dead and they got him in right away. The Nurses and Doctor had to wrap him up in a blanket like a sausage and hold his body and head to give him his stitches. He screamed so loud I swear the whole hospital heard him. It was so hard not being able to comfort him when he was so upset. The doctors didn't like how much swelling there was so they did an X-ray of his head to make sure he didn't crack his skull. All was good and they sent us home. This poor little man of mine two sets of stitches in the past 4 months. The doc said this one will scar. He will definitely have some good scars to show off for the ladies.

A Tea Party

I love that this $10 tea set has been Macie's favorite Christmas present, she has already played with it for hours. Reconfirming to me why I don't spend a lot of money at Christmas.

Macie dresses like this on a daily basis. This dress over whatever she has on with a crown, tons of necklaces, princess shoes and bracelets.
