MY 18 MONTHER!!!

It has truly been Mommy bliss with Macie lately. I can't lie in saying 10 months to about 15 months was definitely the hardest time I had so far as a mother, not that they were terrible, but different, and a little harder. It didn't help that Macie got sick a lot,  and that it was dead of winter. I just found that stage a bit awkward, not quiet playing yet, but not content to just sit there or be snuggled. Thank goodness for swimming, McDonald's play center, and the Servus Sports Centre Fun Zone, or I might have gone mental. Things couldn't be better then ever know though and like I said truly toddler heaven right now. Not that terrible two yet, but so much fun to play with, learn with and laugh with.

Macie at 18 months

- Has Doubled her speech in the past  month and is saying: puppy, kitty, mommy, daddy, up, please, come, hi, bye, ball, swimming, down, car, cheese, ouchie, uh oh,  shoes, lily, molly, papa,  and many more I can't think off, she repeats a lot of what we say and is putting two words together. mostly Up Please, Come Puppies, and Hi Daddy.

- She is an absolute crazy child at the swimming pool and I need to watch her 24/7 or she would literally drown herself trying to get to the deep end.

- She is scared of nothing and will try anything. I love this idea, but it terrifies me right now as she is still so little.

- Is one of the toughest kids I know and even if blood is drawn, she will barely cry and get right back to playing.

- Thinks her Daddy is the greatest person ever, and is totally and completely a Daddy's Girl.

- Loves visiting Papa and Grandma and especially loves the chocolate covered raisins they spoil her with.

- Is a picky eater, but still eats really healthy and will devour anything she loves. Her favorite is definitely cheese, but still loves her raisins and a Peanut Butter sandwich. Also Greek Yogurt and blueberries. She will not eat any kind of meat so I pump her full of Vemma Bode shakes to give her her omega's and protein. Will still eat the occasional home made baby food, so I try and sneak in chicken or fish there and some brown rice or quinoa.

- Playing Outside is her favorite past time and she especially loves going on the swing and collecting rocks.

- Has started to really get good at coloring and painting.

- Has some pretty adorable long blonde hair, that I love to put in ponytails, pigtails, and scrunch up in moose and let it go curly.

- She hates getting her teeth brushed and cries everyday I do it.

- Loves reading books and playing with her puzzles, and is exceptionally good at puzzles.

- Is not an over affectionate  little girl but still will give us a good hug and kiss every night before bed, and the odd time during the day.

- folds her arms when we are saying prayers and has started to say AM at the end not quite amen.

- Plays really good buy herself, but also really good with other kids. Has the odd time when she decides she does not like someone and will not play with them and even gets a little territorial.

- Has a great laugh, and is crazy tickilish.

- Is super Photogenic but hates her picture being taken.

- Is a little sensitive and would rather hurt herself, then get in trouble. She gives the best sad face when her feelings are hurt and it just breaks your heart.

Overall this girl is pretty darn amazing. I love her more and more everyday and still sometimes go in and get her when she is sleeping and bring her to my bed and snuggle with her cause, I just can't get enough of her. I am so excited to be done work next week and have a good 3 1/2 months with her before the baby comes. Life as a mommy is bliss right now, and can't get enough of my little Munchkin.

Seeing as she wouldn't take any pics for me, I decided to post a bunch of my favorite throughout the past 8 months, and some ones that I know didn't make it to the blog. Unfortunately they are not all in order and I can't seem to fix it.
