OUCH, OUCH, AND ONE MORE OUCH!!!!!

So yesterday was the big day, surgery went good, bad, and painful. First of this blog is going to have lots of spelling errors and might not make sense so bare with. So Painful news first, when the Dr went inside my stomach to see if I had any endometriosis what he found was a very inflamed appendix, so guess what had to happen, they had to remove it. OUCH is all I can say, leaving me one extra day in the hospital and no work for one to two weeks. I have to say what an incredible husband I have, he has just been there for me helping me out, being so gentle and caring. Right now he is making me soup and watering the flower he bought me as a get well surgery gift. What a sweetheart. Next is bad news, the Doctor did unfortunately find endometriosis, and some other things in my girlie parts that he had to remove, which leads to more ouch. The last ouch is the three very painful holes I have in my stomach right now but the doc said they will heel quickly, thank goodness. Well now on to the exciting news, even though there was lots of endo ( I will call it that for short) he was able to get ride of all of it, no more. It will probably come back, but with a strict diet I can keep it from getting as bad. So this means baby making time hopefully. Marks counts are up my endo is all cleaned out, everything is looking very positive for us right now.
I will post some pics but please remember I had surgery and they inflated me up like a balloon, and I got very sick the first night, sweating and throwing up everything I ate. I had a sponge bath and nothing else like my hair has been clean.

  1. So was your appendix bugging you at all, or that was a total surprize? Guess it was a blessing finding it that way than have it rupture.
Glad to hear things seem ok for 'baby making times' lol. Guess it's good you have 2 weeks off *wink*.
Let me know if you need anything or go stir crazy and need company :)

  2. It was a total surprise, I have been having stomach problems the past year, but we thought it was a weak immune system. The doc said my appendix could have been like this for a whole year and just kept getting worse and worse, so we are very lucky they found that out. Thanks for the offer I will let you know if I need anything, thankfully mark has the next 7 days off with me so I can totally milk it.

  3. Yikes! You are one tough girl Kalinda. I'm glad you're taking much needed time to rest. I was thinking we should have another freezer meal party- if you feel up to it let me know. And don't worry about the tri- there's always next year!

  4. Wow Kalinda! Quite the trip to the hospital! I'm sorry to hear about the appendicitis and the endo, but thankfully they got it all! That is great news. Good luck with recovery. I know how that feels, after my gall bladder surgery, it took a few days for the pain on the incisions to go away and for the awful gas they fill you up with to go down and escape from your torso. Keep us updated! all our love

  6. I hope you have lots of pairs of cumfy pants, they are the best and won't hurt the tummy. I am glad they could get it all out, and the best way to treat endo is pregnancy so good luck. I have books here if you want to read more about endo. See you in a couple of months.
