The Color Within!!!
Today Melissa, Sara and I did a 5km color run. It was a blast having paint thrown all over us. I of course let the competitive side out of me and had to get out of the mess of people and run ahead. I couldn't believe it when Mark said I was the 4th person to pass the finish line and the first girl. It felt pretty awesome. I love it when I get to hang out with these girls we always have so much fun. Afterwards we hit up the Brewhouse for appetizers then did some shopping all sweaty and full of paint, we looked pretty cool!! Next year we are going all out for dressing up.

Young Women's
Last night for activity we had the girls come to our house and we made some delicious elephant ears, blew up the bounce house and devoured some delicious Nutella s'mores. To say I love my youth is an understatement, these girls are amazing, kind, polite, listen well. Me and Sylvia constitently say how lucky we are to have such good girls. It is such a blessing when being a youth leader and the girls are such a good example to you and make you want to be a better person. I love my calling, the Youth and the amazing leaders I get to work with.

This kid is amazing!!!
I have not kept it a secret how difficult these past 7 months with Wade have been. I have never been so frustrated, exhausted, overwhelmed in my life. I feel like life is a little bit of a blur right now and I am trying to get through life one day one hour one minute at a time. I have never had so much feelings of love and sorrow for someone before. I ache for him and the pain he is in, yet I pity me and how difficult of a road this has been. As life with Wade has really started to improve, although we still have no answers as to why he spits up so much there have been improvements. Yesterday Wade had a specialist appointment and I told the Doctor how these past three days I have only feed him solid food and almonds milk in a sippy cup and the spitting up has been almost nothing, maybe twice a day instead of 4-6 times after every bottle. He gave me the go ahead to keep doing what I am doing and stop formula for good. I almost cried when he said that. I had this feeling of relief come over my body like it is only going to get better from here. Even though Wade has been a difficult baby, he has this way of melting your heart with his amazing smile. He is unreal what he can do with his body. He turns 7 months tomorrow and I wouldn't be surprised if he was walking by 8 months. He pulls himself up onto furniture and walks along it. The comments I get from friends, family, strangers is always how unreal he is and how crazy his muscles are. He gives the most amazing snuggles when he is tired and loves to crawl all over mommy. This kid is so special and is going to be someone amazing to have had to endure all this pain and still smile at the end of the day. I love him so much and love seeing his amazing progress everyday.
Here are some adorable pics to put a smile on your face.

Mother's Day Photo Dump!!
Gee I love these kiddos, and although life as a mother gets harder every year, it also gets more rewarding. As the primary got up and sang a song to the mothers I couldn't help but tear up knowing I will get to have my own children singing in there soon. So to celebrate my Mother's Day, I wanted to do a photo dump of my adorable kiddos.

6 MONTHS, WHAT??
Yes crazy I know this "little" man of mine is 6 months old. Time has gone by so fast, and yet is seems like I don't remember a time that I was not being puked on. We have more Specialists appointments booked in the future to see why this 24/7 spitting up will not stop and why he is struggling to eat his real food. With that this post is about Wade and the many wonderful things about him so here is all about Wade....
-He weighs about 18 lbs of pure muscle. I am not joking this kids muscles are unreal.
- With that being said he was army crawling by 4 1/2 months, and is now sitting all by himself and crawling all over the house, he can get wherever he wants. He is even trying to pull himself up onto furniture.
- And where does he want to get too, TOYS!!! This boy is such a boy. Muscles, toys, muscles, toys, and again more toys. He can play with toys all day long, if he is not eating, napping or wanting to snuggle with his mom, he is playing with any toys he can get his hands on. I am so excited to see as he becomes a toddler what this obsession with toys will bring.
- My heart aches as you see the pain this poor little boy is in, I can't imagine what it would be like to throw up all the time, he has never fully held down a single bottle, unless he falls asleep and then we put him to bed. As we are introducing foods now it is even worse, formula and food being spit up is no fun. His poor tounge is constintely in the way when we try and feed him food and it will not let him properly swallow, he is the biggest mess on the planet after he eats.
- He loves his baths, he loves to splash the water and play with the bath toys.
- His smile is to die for, It is hard to get a smile out of him and he makes me work for it, but it is so worth it. I would watch him smile all day if I could.
- He loves to talk in his deep raspy voice, and he does this funny little talk when he is ready to be picked up. It is deep and constant and it sounds like he is saying "Hey, hey, hey, hey" It is cute in the beginning and then he really turns the volume on and you then want to make it stop.
- We have lucked out with another great sleeper. He is sleeping anywhere from 9 to 11 hours straight at night, and will sleep anywhere for naps. It is so nice to finally have a snuggler. Especially for church on sunday and at night when I have had a long day of being spit up on, when he falls asleep in my arms and we cuddle for a good 30 minutes, nothing beats that.
- I love this little boys personality, sweet, snuggley, loves to play, and I think once we can get past the pain he is having he is gonna be one happy, fun, and crazy adventures little man. I am excited for summer and getting outside lots to play, we have been outside as much as possible and so far he loves the grass and swings, and the wind doesn't even bother him that much.

Easter weekend
What a great relaxing Easter weekend. We drove down to my parents house on Friday and spent the weekend with them. Friday we painted Easter eggs and visited. Saturday was a little chilly in the morning so we lazed around and didn't do much until 10:00. Then it started getting nice so mom, Mark and Macie went and built a snowman then me and mom went for a run. The afternoon was so gorgeous we went and played at a park and then did Marks family tradition of rolling the eggs down the hill. Sunday morning Macie went on an Easter egg hunt and found lots of yummy treats and her basket. We always love to go and visit my mom and dad, they always stuff us with delicious food, we play fun games like ROOK which we beat them at. Had to brag there as we never win. And they give us a nice break from having to parent all the time. It was such a great weekend and so fun visiting Papo and Gampo (what Macie calls my mom and dad).
