10 weeks and first shots
Today Macie had her first set of shots, she was so brave and only cried for 30 seconds. It was heartbreaking to hear her cry that loud but I loved the amazing hugs and snuggles I got from her. We also did her weight and height and she was 11lbs 7 ounces and in the 58% for her weight and 24 inches being in the 80% for her height.

F.H.E. Swimming
Tonight we decided to go swimming for F.H.E. We took Macie swimming for the first time this past Thursday with Annika and Cole and she loved watching all the people, so we thought it would be fun to take her again. She was so adorable kicking in the water and watching everybody play, and come down the slide. She lasted for almost a whole entire hour, but then was starting to get tired. She looked especially cute in her little bathing suite tonight. Thank you Lara for the adorable gift.
SUNDAY!!
How to explain the feelings I felt on this most special day for my daughter. Everything started out so perfect. She woke up nice and early so that I could feed her twice before her blessing have lots of time to get her and myself ready and even arrived at the church 15 minutes early, plenty of time to rock her to sleep before her blessing. She had a different thought in her mind though. She wanted to be awake for the whole thing. I was so nervous as she was getting fussy moments before Mark was to come and take her out of my arms and give her a name and a blessing. Bro Onofrychuk announced it Mark came and took her from my arms, all the other men invited made there way up to the front and Macie started crying. My heart sunk knowing she was going to cry threw the whole thing. I was wrong though the moment Mark started talking there was total and complete silence and she remand silent the whole entire blessing. Tevin my Nephew that held the mike said that Macie just sat there and smiled at Mark the whole entire time he gave her a blessing, how adorable is that. Mark did an amazing job with the blessing and I don't know if there was a dry eye in the chapel. The moment Mark started blessing her he teared up which of course stared the water works from me, but when he said that we have long awaited your arrival I couldn't stop balling.
Macie this was such a special day for you and your Mom and Dad. I hope you know how much your mom and dad love you. Your Dad did an amazing job giving you a blessing and was preparing months before so that he could have the spirit with him and know what your Heavenly Father wanted you to be blessed with. Thank you for coming into our life and picking us to be your parents I hope we do well by you and give you all the love that you need. We love you so much and are so grateful for the wonderful precious Daughter of God that you are.
my sister took some wonderful pictures which I will post when I get them but I did take a couple with my crappy camera of Macie looking darling in her dress.

SATURDAY!!
About two months ago we started planning for Macie's blessing and thought it would be a good idea to also throw my Dad a 60th birthday party as he was in arizona when he had his birthday. We also thought since Mark's birthday was going to be that Saturday we should probably celebrate his as well seeing as he was turning the big 30! So we started planning away, we got my mom to pick up dad's awesome birthday present from us kids in the states as it was way cheaper. Then we booked the servus sports center seeing as at the time there was going to be close to 50 people coming up for Macie's blessing. I ordered a cake and we thought we would do pizza and games at our house afterwards. So all the plans were in place and set until mother nature decided to run a muck. Not only did most of Mark's family not be able to make it up thanks to this horrible weather that graced us this weekend all of my family arrived late. With it starting to look like nothing was going to work out I gave up all hope for what this wonderful weekend was suppose to be. We got to the sports center and all the local family showed up and even with it being few numbers we had an absolute blast. So worth every penny spent on renting out the gym even if it was just for the locals. Then when we got home with the pizza and cake my mom and dad (the guest of honor) and the Halls had finally arrived. So we partied the night away eating tons of pizza, delicious cake, Dad opening his awesome present from us kids, and visiting with everybody. We also bought an air hockey table the other day so there was many games being played there. It was a blast and I am sad so many others missed it but so happy that everything still worked out and we had so much fun, celebrating two amazing men in my life birthdays.
NIECE AND NEPHEW!
This Weekend I had the opportunity to spend Wednesday to Sunday with my two wonderful niece and nephew Annika and Cole (Mark's sister Corrine's two oldest) I have always thought these two were great but have never spent some real one on one time with them. This weekend though we got a good 3 days with them before everybody else arrived. It was so wonderful getting to know them better. I especially got to spend some time with Annika as she helped a lot with Macie and supper. They are such great kids, listen good, always wanting to have fun and the best part they liked my cooking, most kids don't as it is more grown up people food so I was quit excited every time they devoured my food and told me how good it was. It truly was a treat getting to know these two wonderful kids better and we are so lucky to have them in our life.

Hello REDHEAD!!!
Okay people here is the proof I think there might be a redhead in the family. I guess we will have to wait and see but everyday it looks less blonde and more red. I can't wait to see what it looks like, I just hope it ends up like Mark's sister red hair, beautiful color, thick with gorgeous curls.
p.s how cute are these two together they are going to be best buds.

F.H.E SCIENCE FAIR
So tonight for F.H.E we had our friends the Lows over. We started with a delicious meal then a wonderful spiritual message from Mark about how to use the internet wisely. It was a wonderful message and definitely got me thinking of how to make better use of my time. Then we had some fun. We decided to try some experiments that our niece did in a science fair. Our first experiment was getting a bottle of Mountain dew, some hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. You empty almost all of the mountain dew then add a tiny amount of baking soda and three capsules of peroxide and then shake the bottle and it is suppose to glow in the dark, well we got hosed it totally doesn't work. Our next experiment we needed a 2 litre of diet coke and a package of Mint Mentos, you must do this experiment outside. All you do is add the mentos to the diet coke and watch it explode in the air and all over the ground, so cool. We then headed in for some amazing desert, sex in a pan in honor of valentines day :). Then finished the night with playing Monopoly deal (and no Harkers we did not own it which means I won a shopping spree) and relaxing and visiting in the hot tub. Such a fun evening and glad we got to share it with such amazing people.

First Big Trip
Thursday morning at 9:00 we loaded the truck and headed on our first big trip with Macie. We thought for sure we would have to stop in Red Deer to feed her but my wonderful daughter made it all the way from Kitscoty to Airdire without waking up once. We stopped in Airdrie for a quick visit with my sister-in-law and Lifelong friend Kimberlee Martin, she just had her 3rd baby 8 months ago. It was fun to visit with them and see how things are going in there life. We then of course had to hit up cross iron mills mall and do a little bit of clothes shopping for Macie. Then headed to my sister Keltie's house for another quick visit. We slept there for the night and then headed for Lethbridge Friday afternoon. We got to Lethbridge around 4:30 and Macie was a gem again and slept the whole way there. We spent the evening with our Best Friends the Harkers who ditched us and moved to Lethbridge we miss them constantly but our glad if they moved anywhere it was Lethbridge as we will see them often there. We had a delicious meal provided by the Harkers and then headed out for desert for Mark's birthday we were going to hit up this fancy restaurant but it was to long of a wait so we dinned at DQ for some blizzards and peanut buster parfaits. We finished off the night with some fun games and then headed to bed. Mark and Matt got up nice and early and headed out for a day of snowboarding they stopped in Cardston to pick up Hakon (Mark's life long friend). It sounded like they had a blast but are pretty soar after using muscles they have not used in a while. Royall and I got to spend the day visiting and catching up. We visited an awesome pet store and hooked up Molly and Lily with some treats and toys as we promised them for ditching them in Lloydminster with my brother. Then Royall made some delicious soup for lunch, we had a quick nap then headed to Henderson for a walk. After all the fun of our day we had to part and go our own ways. Mark and I then headed to the UofL Basketball game. Macie was so good and loved watching the game. I also ran into my old boss from Quizno's (Mike Selk) at the basketball game it was so nice running into him and catching up. We always run into somebody when we head south to visit family. After the game I went down on the court and shoot some hoops with my nieces and nephews, I have not shoot a basketball in over a year it was so nice to shoot and dribble a ball again. Sunday we then headed for another quick visit to see Mark's mom and sister and her kids. We went to sacrament with Mark's mom then headed to her house for some lunch and visiting. Then stopped in for a quick visit at the Skoien's. We then ended out trip with hanging out with the Halls and having another delicious meal. We decided to leave that night at 11:00 and drive through the night as Macie is such a good night sleeper we thought she might make it all the way, with about an hour in a half left she woke up wanting some dinner, almost made it. I topped her up then we headed for our final stretch home. It was such a wonderful weekend of visiting friends and family. Macie was so good which made for such a pleasant trip.

F.H.E
In the past two months are family home evenings have not only changed from mondays to tuesdays but they have doubled in size. We have got to add both Macie and now my brother to the evening. It was so fun tonight having more people there to do stuff with. We started off the evening with a song and prayer followed by some learning of baby blessings and Brock sharing his experience with us of blessing his two beautiful daughters. It was a good preperation for Macie's blessing at the end of February. We then watched an old home movie of mine and Brock's when we were teenagers and Mark's movie "Airapoloza" that he made with his friends in high school. We then ended the activity with timbits and some guitar hero. I am so excited to have my brother up hear and getting to spend more time with him. It was such a fun F.H.E. with lots of laughs and good memories.
NEWBORN NO MORE!
Macie has officially outgrown all her newborn clothes and is becoming such a big girl. She is smiling all the time now especially in the morning after a good long sleep and her first morning feed. She holds her head up for longer periods and can do longer sessions of tummy time. She sleeps through the night almost every night and is eating longer but less often throughout the day. I can't believe how fast she is growing. Today at her Dr's appointment she weighed 10 lbs 14 ounces and was 34 1/2 inches long. She was in the 75% for both her weight and height. I have never been prouder of both her and my breastmilk.

DO YOU WANNA GO WORK OUT?
This morning I had Macie in her chair while I was checking my e-mails. I got up when I was finished and in my high squeaking voice to Macie (why I talk like that to her I don't know) I asked her if she wanted to go work out with Mommy? and this was the reaction I got. I grabbed my camera and kept asking her and every time I asked her she smiled. I was so pumped this is the first time she has really smiled at me, where I know it was not gas. so adorable can't wait for more of those to come.
